The business meeting was called to order at 6:10pm on 10/28/00 at the home of Jim White and Rhoda Morrell. An record of attendance was not created. The meeting followed the agenda below: 

ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2000

  1. The establishment and maintenance of a professional looking web site (www.pembertoncreek.org) by a Pemberton Creek resident, Steve Urgo. Steve donates his time to this effort and is truly a webmaster! 
  2. The new front entrance "Welcome to Pemberton Creek" sign project. 
  3. Installation of additional street lighting throughout the neighborhood. 
  4. Speed limit reduction and wildlife signs in the neighborhood. 
  5. Re-establishment of common area maintenance.
  6. Documentation of Pemberton/Baker Creek improvements made by Hillsborough county. 

PLANS FOR 2001 

  1. Continuation of common area improvements Bulletin board improvements. 
  2. Crepe myrtle plantings.
  3. Neighborhood watch.

TREASURER'S REPORT

By the end of the year the bank balance will be approx. $2500. Assuming the membership for 2001 is the same as 2000 (41) we will add $4100 to the ending balance of $2500 which will give us working capital of $6600. The budget for 2001 will have to tie to the $6600 funds available. 

DUES FOR 2001 

Dues were voted upon by the group of PCPOA members present and it was determined that the dues would remain at $100.00 for 2001. Dues should be paid to the treasurer, S.Bolen in the month of January. The group discussed funding special improvement projects by defining the project in detail as to scope and cost and then solicit contributions from those interested. Contributions would be either in dollars and or time. 

BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2001 

Three existing board members volunteered for 2001(Bill Powell, Sharon Bolen, Brad Redwine). There were no objections. Additional members were solicited amongst the group. The following persons indicated that they would serve as noted:
