MINUTES FROM THE BOARD MEETING
NOVEMBER 1, 2008
1. BUSINESS MEETING CALLED TO ORDER at 4:30 P.M. by President Jim Drapp.
Board members present:
JIM DRAPP PRESIDENT
GENE GARDNER SECRETARY
JOAN GARDNER TREASURER
STEVE DAILY MEMBER AT LARGE/LANDSCAPE
LISA JUAREZ MEMBER AT LARGE/SOCIAL
President Drapp introduced the current board members and thanked them for their services this past year. He also thanked Bob Coppersmith and Lisa Juarez for all of their efforts in hosting the picnic.
President Drapp welcomed and introduced two newcomer households of Cecil and Gloria McClamma and Joseph and Danielle O’Niel.
2 Secretary Gardner read the minutes from the October 12, 2008 meeting. Board meeting minutes were approved unanimously.
3. OLD BUSINESS:
President discussed the status of the following items:
a.) THIS YEAR’S ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
(1) Publishing news letters
(2) Calling neighbors to relate some homes had been burglarized.
(3) Arrange hosting for two major meeting/socials.
(4) Maintain a website, TIME AND EXPENSE DONATED BY STEVEN URGO
(5) Provide various timely handouts at socials and for newcomers.
(6) Welcome newcomers.
b) TECO Willow Oak transmission lines. There is no change. Status Open.
c.) REZONING on McIntosh/Muck Pond. There is no change. Status Open.
d.) NEIGHBORHOOD APPEARANCE. Some priorities need work. Status Open.
e.) NEIGHBORHOOD BREAK-INS. No change in status. Status Open.
f.) CONDITION OF BULLETIN BOARD. Status Open.
4. NEW BUSINESS:
a.) Treasurer Gardner presented current bank balance of $7832.72 as of November 1, 2008 with 38 paid members. Status Open.
b.) Board members for 2009.
(1) A discussion of duties occurred.
(2) Volunteers to serve were:

SteveUrgo (website manager)
c.) All volunteers were approved by unanimous vote.
d.) Members/residents were urged to check accuracy of roster for 2009 directory printing and several made changes and additions for newcomers.

e.) Gail Broda volunteered to be hostess for the Spring/Meeting.
5. NEXT BOARD MEETING: To be determined at a later date.
