PCPOA Board Meeting Minutes 2/24/02
The newly elected 2002 PCPOA board met at the home of Sharon Bolen at 3:00pm on Sunday 2/24/02. Board members present were Bill Powell, Bob Miller, Brad Redwine, Tom Bolen. Outgoing Treasurer, Sharon Bolen was present to hand over files, records, etc. to the new treasurer, Bob Miller. Delores Cantor and Kim Dunbar were unable to attend.
The agenda was:
· Membership drive and dues collection for 2002
· Treasury report
· Social functions
· Special improvement projects
The 2002 membership letter will be ready for distribution the week of 2/25/02. Bob Miller and Sharon Bolen will handle. Delores Cantor has volunteered to help promote membership in PCPOA for 2002.
The current treasury report was presented by Sharon Bolen. Cash balance as of 2/24/02 is $3,374.05. The 2002 budget will be based upon membership and will be presented at the Spring Social.
The two social fuctions for 2002 were set as follows:
A special improvement project for 2002 was discussed and Jim White was at the meeting to discuss the details. Jim W. has volunteered to contribute both material and labor to improve the existing wall structures within the neighborhood. The property owners of the property where the structures exist will be contacted by Tom Bolen for approval of design and timeframe for construction. Saturday March 9 has been designated for a volunteer effort to remove existing plants from the East wall structure area. Construction would begin and end in the March – April timeframe.
