The meeting was called to order on 2/19/00 at 10:30am in the home of Bill Powell.

The following people were in attendance:

Bill Powell, Sharon Bolen, Brad Redwine, Anthony Haynes, and Gene Gardner.

The prior meetings minutes were read and approved for the record.

A current financial position was presented by Sharon Bolen.

As of 2/4/00 the PCPOA cash on hand was reported as being $7745.54. This reflected the receipt of $2400.00 from 24 property owners which was a direct result of the January membership drive.

The next order of business was a discussion of dues received ($2400.00) vs. the proposed budget ($4615.00). It was obvious based on feedback from potential members that there was a great deal of concern with the budget line item "media affairs consultant" for $1500.00. The board agreed to eliminate this line item from the proposed budget which reduced the budget to $3115.00. Based on dues received there was still a short fall to cover all budgeted items. One of two actions must occur, either additional members/dues must be forthcoming or additional line items must be deleted from the budget. It was decided that a general business meeting needed to be held to discuss the 2000 Budget, and the limited amount of dues received.

On March 4, at 10:00am at Bill Powells' home a general meeting will be held to discuss these matters. A bulletin board posting as to meeting date and time is to be completed by Brad Redwine. A letter of explaination is to be drafted and e/mailed and web-site posted by Bill Powell.

An update was given on the web site. Total cost of this project to date has been less than $200.00 which has been due to a lot of time having been spent by Steve Urgo and Bill Powell. The next addition is to be a calendar of events posting. Initally it will be simply a listing of dates and "events". Ultimately it will look like a monthly calendar with events posted on the day of the month.

Pemberton Pride Month is planned for the period 3/15/00 - 4/15/00. It is hoped that enough enthusiasm can be generated among the neighborhood that the following can be accomplished: Vacant lots will be mowed All curbs can be cleared of leaves Property owners will self check for deed compliance Weed clean-up in drainage ditches on Muck Pond Rd.

It is planned that at the Spring social function on 4/15/00 we will invite our county comissioner Jim Norman along with other county personnel such as Bernardo Garcia as well as real estate representatives to spend time visiting with us so they can see our neighborhood and how nice it really is.

The final item of discussion was the subject of cars "speeding" thru the neighborhood. It was decided that Anthony Haynes would request that the county reduce the posted speed limit in the neighborhood from 30mph down to 20mph. It was also decided that we would request enforcement of the posted speed limit.

Next meeting:...... Saturday........March 4, 2000.......10:00am...........at 6704 Pemberton Est. Ct.
