PCPOA Board Meeting Minutes                             02/11/2001

 The meeting convened at 6:00pm in the home of Bill Powell. Board members present:

Minutes from the last meeting were read and approved with several changes to the 2001 budget as noted:

Legal and Professional fees changed………… from $7.00 to………   $65.00

Electric bill changed…………………………...from$69.00 to……... $200.00                                        

Web site expenses changed……………………from$75.00to……….$108.00

Total 2001 budget amended to read $3000.00

Sharon Bolen, treasurer, presented an update on dues collection and survey results for neighborhood improvements and additional contributions toward them. To date there are 17 paid members ($100.00 each). Additional funds contributed or pledged total $850.00 toward improvement projects. The initial request was to have all dues into the treasurer by 2/15/01. Total funds in the bank as of 2/11/01 are $5141.00. 

The Spring Social is scheduled for 3/24/01 and $550.00 has been allocated. Catherine Miteas and Rhoda Morrell will coordinate the function. The site is still to be determined. Once all details are known a sign will be posted on the bulletin board and web page and e/mails sent out to members with Internet connection.

The board will make two presentations at the Spring Social for improvement projects. One project will be the bulletin board and surrounding landscape areas. Bruce P. will be the project coordinator. He will meet with interested parties and build consensus as to what the project will include. A budget will be established based on input from the interested parties and quotes will be obtained sizing the project to the budget.

The second project will be the wall/landscape area between the second and third sections. Bill Powell will be the project coordinator and similar data will be gathered and presented at the social.

  It is the goal of the board to have members review, select, and  approve a project(s) so that the board can proceed over the balance of the year to bring them to fruition. 

Meeting adjourned at 7:00pm. Next meeting will be Sunday 3/18/01 at 6:00pm at Bill Powell’s’ home.
