November 15th 2003 P.C.P.O.A. Fall Social and Business Meeting Minutes    

 

The P.C.P.O.A. Fall social began at 4:00pm on Saturday 11/15/03 at the home of Jim White and Rhoda Morrell -White. Approximately 60 adults and children were present. The association provided the entrée and soft drinks while all attendees brought an assortment of accompanying food. Plenty was had by all!

 

The annual business meeting was called to order at 5:30pm. All current board members, Bill Powell, Bob Miller, Brad Redwine, Tom Bolen and Bruce Phillipoom were present as a summary of the Treasurer’s report was read. The final P.C.P.O.A. member count for 2003 was 39 and the bank balance as of 11/15/03 was $6,237.92.

 

The board president, Bill Powell, covered the accomplishments of the P.C.P.O.A. over the past four years. Tangible improvements included:

·        The design and installation of the Welcome to Pemberton Creek sign, night lighting, and irrigation for the front entrance area.

·        The bulletin board area improvements including the plantings and stone borders on both sides of the road at the entrance to the first addition. 

·        The removal of the old wooden Pemberton Creek signs, and the repair of the old walls at the entrance to the second addition.

 

The current board expressed a desire that, after four continuous years of service, they were all ready for a new board to be elected for 2004. Five volunteers stepped forward to serve as P.C.P.O.A. board members for 2004. The new board members are: Marcela Seelig, Lisa Brooks, Joan Gardner, Brad Meents, and Jill Meents. The new board will determine which members hold which jobs. 

 

A transition board meeting will be held on Sunday 11/23/03 at 6:00pm at the home of Bill Powell. A transfer of records and information is to take place. The current board will lend assistance and act as a resource, if needed, for the new board members in 2004.
