Subject: Board Meeting Minutes 10/22/00
The PCPOA board convened on 10/22/00 at 6:00pm in the home of Bill Powell. The following members were present: Bill Powell, Sharon Bolen, and Brad Redwine. Gail Broda sent an e-mail outlining all plans for the Fall social scheduled next weekend, however was unable to attend due to illness.
Items of discussion:
ENTRANCE SIGN STATUS
Project completed on 10/18/00 with a total cost of $4760 (sign - $1900, irrigation - $1225, landscaping - $1385, and lighting - $250). Additional costs would have been incurred for this project if it were not for the efforts of people volunteering their time. Tree trimming would have cost an additional $400 and electrical work would have been another $500. Thanks to all who helped make this project such a visible success for the neighborhood! Lawn care maintenance for the entrance has been set up with our current provider Springer Lawn Service. A quote will be solicited for the removal of the railroad ties from the planting area by the bulletinboard as a prelude for the continuation of the common area improvement projects in 2001.
FALL SOCIAL
10/28/00 Gail Broda provided the meeting with a detailed set of plans for the social function next weekend. Start time is set for 4:30pm and the event will be enjoyed by all those in the neighborhood deciding to attend. Agenda for the business meeting at the social will be provided by Brad R. and e/mailed to Bill P. by 10/24/00.
BOARD MEMBERS FOR 2001
Three current members have agreed to continue their duties for 2001 if necessary. Two members have indicated that they do not wish to continue in the new year. The members agreeing to serve another term are Bill Powell, Sharon Bolen, and Brad Redwine. The members not wanting to serve as board members are Gail Broda and Anthony Haynes. This information will be presented at the business meeting and the group can decide who the new board will be.
