The meeting was called to order at 4:15pm on Saturday 4/15/00 at the home of Bill Powell, 6704 Pemberton Estate Court.
An attendance record was generated by having all present sign in. Bill Powell addressed the group and introduced commissioner Jim Norman. Mr. Norman spoke about things he and his office were doing to help the Pemberton Creek neighborhood.
Gene Gardner spoke re. beautification of the common areas in the neighborhood. Before any plantings can begin we must have water available for each of the areas targeted for improvement. Kirby's Nursery will be glad to help us with whatever plans we have provided we have water for the areas.
Bill Powell advised the group we were in receipt of data from county officials re. the corrective actions that had been completed in the area to correct flooding. This is the material that will be compiled by J. Darazio for publication and use by all Pemberton Creek residents as verification of resolution to the problem of flooding. The information will also be posted to the web page.
The final item of discussion was that of the Pemberton Creek sign improvement project. Detailed quotations were available for review showing proposed art work along with pricing and completion timeframes. After presenting the information and having a discussion session the board asked the group two questions:
Did the PCPOA members want to proceed with the project? If yes, then would the PCPOA members allow the board to act on their behalf, making the best business decisions possible, and complete the project?
All PCPOA members present voted unanimously "yes" to both questions.
The business meeting adjourned at 5:15pm. which all voting members present approved unanimously
